Happy New Year!
The year 2019 is the year of the pig according to the Chinese Zodiac, but in Japan it is associated with the boar (inoshishi 猪). We hope you will enjoy these cute wagashi of the young boars' heads. We wish you a great New Year 2019!
On 6th October 2018 we were at the Bunkasai - the Autumn Festival of Japanese Arts in Warsaw. We did some workshops, showing how to make simple autumn wagashi (Japanese sweets). Thank you for coming!
Przygotowaliśmy też dla was mini sklepik z sakura mochi, ichigo daifuku i dorayaki. Serdecznie zapraszamy. Happy New Year!
The year 2018 is the year of the dog according to the Chinese Zodiac. To celebrate it, the Japanese confectioners have created this cute nerikiri in the shape of a Shiba Inu's head. We tried to recreat it ourselves and here is the result. We wish you a great New Year 2018! |
